STORYBOARDS

This storyboard shows my jewel toned evening wear designs: Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst, Emerald. My focus was on creating interesting shapes and textures with these outfits. There's also a range in lengths from a cocktail type look to the black tie floor length gown. I was trying to maintain a sensual feel while displaying class and elegance.
This is another example of my favorite artists influencing my designs. Georgia O'Keeffe was one of the first artists I was enamored with since I was very young. I designed this series of outfits to be worn to an O'Keeffe gallery. The color choices came from her earthy depictions of flowers and landscapes.

This collection is simply an experimentation with shape and sheer fabrics. I have always love the layering of sheer fabrics as an element of visual interest in fashion. The looks get more adventurous from right to left. These were meant for a person of confidence and sophistication.
I tend to gravitate towards cool colors when designing garments and this is the perfect example. This is a range of streetwear which is meant to show how casual clothing, including active wear, can be elevated and chic.

From left to right these looks progress from activewear to formalwear. Again, I played with the sheer styles that I like and aimed to create some looks for every occasion.
I created this storyboard after seeing the Quentin Tarantino movie "Once Upon A Time in Hollywood." I enjoyed the styling and overall aesthetic of the movie, so I was inspired to create a look based on the late 60s outfits seen throughout the movie.
