SENIOR SHOWCASE COLLECTION

From my childhood I've always loved art of all kinds. I was always excited by trying new mediums and making art. Pulling inspiration from all of the artists I love is the best foundation when designing clothing. For example, my senior showcase designs were inspired by a few Henri Matisse pieces: Icarus (1946), Blue Nude II (1952), Fall of Icarus (1943). I really love the bold simplicity of these lithographs, so I decides to make them the inspiration for the collection. I only constructed two of the looks because our semester was shortened due to the pandemic.
